Information used by the service
Accounts use a username, display name, home state, password hash, recovery records and sign-in sessions. Session records can include IP address and browser information. When enabled, Google or Facebook sign-in supplies an account identifier, name, email and profile image to create or authenticate your AZPUNK account. Provider tokens and account records are stored server-side by our authentication system; we do not request access to your Google files or Facebook Pages through social sign-in. Existing accounts are not automatically merged by email. If you use ChatGPT sign-in, the hosting service supplies an account identifier, email and display name. We use these records to authenticate you, recover access, prevent abuse and associate your contributions with your account.
We store the content you submit, including posts, replies, classifieds, band and venue information, show details, audio uploads and private messages, together with author identifiers and timestamps. Public contributions and audio uploads are visible to other visitors. Private messages are delivered to their participants and stored on the service; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not include confidential information in public posts.
Browser storage and service providers
Sign-in cookies maintain your session. Local browser storage remembers preferences such as your state, radio volume, saved topics and forum settings. You can clear these through your browser; doing so may sign you out or reset preferences. Hosting and storage are provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. These providers process requests and service data to operate the website. Technical request and error logs may be processed for service reliability and security.
Maps, media and external websites
Loading maps, externally hosted media or following external links connects you to the relevant provider, which can receive your IP address, browser information and requested resource. Google venue lookups send the selected venue’s name and location to Google. See Maps terms and privacy for details and provider policies. AZPUNK’s map features do not request your device’s location.
Facebook Page information
The band finder integration is configured for testing while Meta access approval is pending; public Page lookup is not yet operational. Its purpose is to help visitors find public band and venue Pages. No Facebook login or Facebook password is required by the current AZPUNK website, and it does not currently import Facebook Page feeds. When configured, a signed-in visitor can send a band or venue search term or selected Page identifier to Meta through AZPUNK’s server. The lookup requests public Page names, locations, links and Page-authored published posts. Results are displayed for the current visit without being saved to AZPUNK’s database or calendar. We store an account-linked request counter and timestamp to limit abuse; server credentials are not sent to visitors.
Retention and removal
Account records and contributions remain in the service until removed through the available controls or a processed deletion request. Some delete controls hide content from normal viewing while retaining a recoverable record or uploaded file; they do not immediately erase it from storage. Historical archive material is separate from new community accounts. To request account removal, permanent removal of a contribution, or review of an archive entry that identifies you, use the data-deletion instructions.
Removal from AZPUNK does not remove copies already downloaded by others or content on external services. Information may remain in provider backups or records required for security, dispute resolution or applicable legal obligations. Contact us about a specific record and we will explain the available removal process.
Your choices and contact
You can browse public content without creating an AZPUNK account, choose what to publish, use available edit and delete controls, clear local preferences, and request access, correction or deletion by emailing wlgilmore@gmail.com. Include your username and the relevant page links. Never send your password, recovery code or access token. We may need to confirm ownership before acting on account requests.
Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
